Wind barriers

This road hedges are a good wind protection on our flat country. And wind we have. Nearly all day`s of the year. This is a typical and very common landscape growing and lay out.
( The road on the left side is for biking only. On both sides of both roads there is is a ditch between them and the fields)

I would expect the wind could really pick up and do some damage except for these hedge barriers.
