Did have some tea at this B+B farm on a bike tour.
The Lady of the house proudly shows her collection of China and earthwere. ( This is only less of halve of the collection)
Have a nice weekend.
wow that's a mad collection! I love tea, the ritual of making it as much as drinking it (tea is brewing in a pot as I type). And I have a few different tea pots that I use for different teas and different amounts of visitors - but nothing like this! Mind you getting a tea pot that pours well is always one of my bigger challenges :)
Tea just has to be served from a pot! Here they are not used very often and in the auction house where I work, they can be bought for a ridiculously low price. The lady of the house would be in her element!
Waw !! what a beautiful farm house kitchen and what a collection but like @cathieg I just can not imagine dusting all the teapots !! Fascinating , I keep looking at it -- fav
2200 pieces!!! I can't wait to tell Ken about this as he thinks I have a lot of dishes! (NOTHING LIKE THIS!!!) BUT, I absolutely love to look at this room! It says so much about what she loves and she's surrounded herself beautifully with the way she's displayed it! (I'm going to make a joke, but don't know if you'll understand it in a different language... "Dusting is not my cup of tea"... It's one of those ways we say we don't like something, so you could mentioning absolutely anything, and, if you didn't like it, you'd say, "it's not my cup of tea"! I'd have to put about 6 pots at a time in the dishwasher and do that everyday!
But again, I DO love this sort of photo od homes and interiors!
