This is the farm from yesterday`s beet pic. It`s under construction and be rebuild in the same style as it was before.
On the news to day. Our country populations have reach to 17.171.717 people. ( When I was born it was +/- 8 million.) So the beets are just a small amount.
Toen ik studeerde was het 15 miljoen. Wat een groot dak, heel wat werk in het verschiet.

that is so far beyond my ability to grasp! not only living in Australia but in rural Australia where the 'city' near me has 30,000 people ... so many beets!
Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures. Our houses are built of stone and concrete only (except for doors and windows) and the roofs are flat not slanting. It is cheaper (I presume) to built in stone than in wood.
