Dry

We`ve now a long period of warm and dry weather so the crops has to be watered. This goes in the opposite way as we remove it by the same water ways . Now we are pomping fresh water into the country for the farmers to use.

The insert shows the dry clay soil.
Oh how difficult that must be to keep the crops moistened when you have SO MANY fields! It looks very time consuming! At least you called your weather "warm" but didn't say "HOT" as so many are doing!

Van mij mag het gaan regenen. Het gras is bruin, de bladeren vallen... De tuin is een rommeltje.

@Weezilou Nobody say`s farming is easy. But they see this as a part of the job.

This drought is not good for the farms and their produce ,Ferry A lot of hard work for the farmers and even failed crops if this drought continues !

@beryl This is not as dramatic as it looks like. We have the fresh water and on clay the outcome is always better as expected. Beside that,: if the harvest decrese the prices increse and the bad is n`t that worse

Beautiful rural capture. Seems all north of Europe is suffering from this heat wave which has lasted too long now. It doesn't bother us much here because we are used to it.
