A view on the whole dike.
This pic. has normaly not passed my quality norm but as Kathy wander how big a dike is this view for her and all who are interrested.
The lenght of the water inlet = 48,1 km. / 29,9 m.

Thank you Ferry. It's so hard to imagine the water getting that deep. Smart of people to think of this technique to keep the land from flooding. It also seems to provide a nice "green" barrier between the roads and development and the sea.
