What a lovely sight - Christmas is coming ! why do we always associate the Brussel Sprout with Christmas - Our Christmas dinner would not be complete with out these little gems !
Wooow! Never-ending views of all those brussels sprouts. I planted 4 or 6 brussels plants in the garden once and had a few to eat but Christine doesn't like them so I never tried them again.

Vroeger op mijn bord niet... Ik moest er 10 eten als ze groot waren, 15 als ze klein waren. Hier in Oman hebben ze ze niet, maar misschien zou ik ze nu wel lusten....
Hi. Here is the recipe for the kale.
Green Kale
Wash the kale and rip off from the stems. In a roasting pot we heat up homemade lard and slowly, a little at a time, braise the kale. when done add more kale to it until all the kale is gone. now we add freshly cooked red beans which were soaked in water overnight and then cooked. the next step is to add a jar of tomato spaghetti sauce. give it a good stir and then take the roasting pot and bake it in the oven at 350 degree for approximately one hour. try it and if its to your taste....Enjoy.
