'clouds' with silhouette of The Hospital of St Cross and Almshouse
Ray suggested we walk a little bit of the Clarendon Way alongside the River Itchen to St Cross this morning.
I missed:
1. a water vole in the river
2. a baby robin in a tree
3. a pigeon flying with a beak of nesting material.
So I was consoled, when we were having our coffee and cheese scones, by a moment of happiness capturing these clouds and a bit of sun flare.
I only count my blessings. If I be over there I miss all that`s the interesting things happen here .
A great capture of a wonderful sky with those wonderful clouds ans sunflare
Love that blue sky's and sun flare, sounds a bit like me, I miss things all the time , then you get a good day like today when I was really spoilt for choice when I looked at my shots!
This is a beautiful sky Hazel and the sun flare really adds to the shot. Can be frustrating when you think you have missed a good shot but that's photography for you!
Love your story. It always seems to me that the best shots are those that I miss when I decided NOT to bring along my camera. Timing is tricky! But ... your clouds are beautiful. LOVE clouds!
I must say I feel a whole better for reading your comment, thank you! (We've had some amazing skies lately.)
It does look a bit ominous but was not so in real life!
I'm always a bit dubious about cheese scones which I have not made myself but you are right to be envious as these were really delicious!
