After the morning mist, and ice in our bird bath, the day turned out really warm and sunny. Our Photography Group meeting finished early so I stopped off at Shawford on the way home and walked down to the river, thinking I might capture a swan or two.
These young ladies were letting their horses cool off so I was really lucky. Wish you could hear the sound of their front hooves pounding the water!
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Darlene, see my answer to you under my pale pink shot! The most expensive camera I've ever bought has broken down after 3 months, - no other has ever done that. I feel as if somebody has cut my arm off as I've been using it and loving it! Have been told 2-6 weeks for repair!
@quietpurplehaze Hazel, I am sick about your Sony camera. Read what I wrote back to you and please keep in touch. I have heard more horror stories about how long to repair like yours. 2-6 weeks is so long. I wonder if others are having problems too. You know I bought a Panasonic camera early last year and it was a bridge camera. Panasonic Lumix and had problems with it and then it went down in price and I knew something was going on. Took the loss on that camera and bought the Sony. I will check and see if I find anything on the Sony. Social media is a great way to find things out. I am not fond of electronics today. They are not made well and if we have to replace or wait for repairs we will give up. So glad you have other cameras to use. By the way were you thinking of getting a new computer too, a Mac? Someone was asking about that back some time ago. I am sick over my Mac. I cannot buy new cameras and computers as they should last a long time.
@quietpurplehaze It is good to hear from you. I think that is a great idea to have a computer for your photos. I will check out this brand that you have. So nice to have a local firm that builds them and I am sure if you have problems can also repair for you. Keep me posted about your camera too.
Some great splashes here and a reportage feel too :)

No, not buying a new computer - I have a laptop for my photography. It's a Novatech which are built by a local firm.
