Taken on 'illustration', a mode in my Sony: it seems to work OK with sunflowers but not so well with other flowers. Perhaps the designer was a follower of van Gogh?!
Rain overnight here and more promised today. I have the day free: the blackberry and apple crumble is made (and partially eaten) and the plum jam is in the jars - a very delicate red from little plums which were mostly yellow.
A day for reading I think - I have a French detective novel to finish and then will start The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt which I picked up at the health club's 2ndhand bookstall yesterday.
Thanks for comments and favs! (The rain has arrived, it's pouring down and Jinks is snoozing on his bed here, luckily we went for a walk first in the dry.)
I really like this effect - it works well. Definite fav. I very much enjoyed The Goldfinch - took a little while to get into it and then couldn't put it down.
It works well with the sunflowers! Thank you Hazel for leaving your kind message on the loss of my dear friend Sam. I am so grateful for the care shown by so many people from across the world here on 365. it is helping me to cope with my sadness. Thanks. xx
This is absolutely lovely and think it should be framed and hanged...I know I should have said hung, but it didn't rhyme! LOL I really do love this and in a frame it would be an awesome photo in your kitchen!!! Bright and cheery!! Huge FAV!
Oh good - it's also very big so should occupy me for a while!
Thanks for comments and favs! (The rain has arrived, it's pouring down and Jinks is snoozing on his bed here, luckily we went for a walk first in the dry.)
Thank you and for the pat - Jinks is doing fine now, stitches out collar off, no licking!!
We live right in the south centre of England in Hampshire, these plums were in neighbouring Sussex.
I tried it on a shot of my dog, Jinks and it was very cartoonish - use with caution!
Kathy, thank you! I thought of hanging it somewhere - but where? Running out of walls!!!!
Phil, thanks, I wouldn't cut them myself but have been buying sunflowers, which other people have cut, for some years.
Denise it's very thoughtful indeed of you to leave me a message. I have some idea of how you feel right now from losing loved ones myself.
fav
Oh did I - thank you for flagging it up, Cherrill!!!! I'm going to get it printed and framed for the kitchen.
Hey, thank you both. This is a special prog called illustration which I just discovered on my camera!
Marilyn, many thanks!
