Lovely the striations in the petals. I know the feeling of needing to retire the camera to catch up. I tend to take pictures in spurts and then try to catch up with processing. Makes the one a day idea hard to hold to, so I've given myself permission to post photos from several days, or even weeks, past when I am able to get to them.
Joanne, yes, I tend to post freely time wise now, after more than 7 years on 365. I have cut down a bit on the number of photos I take but do tend to take my camera everywhere!

I know what you mean. There were two of these poppies and to me they look as if a bit of white paint was stirred into the red!
