Amanda Powell challenged me this week to take a mundane item from your home and photograph it in a unique way!! This may not be unique enough, but I thought the low light and black & white was a little different way to photograph a lamp.
@froggie0628 Amanda, I hope this works for the challenge. It was an interesting way to look at the "normal" things around me and find a way to make them look "photogenic." Thank you for this challenge. I am enjoying it.
Love how the B&W softens the lamp and the shapes really come out - even though they are subtle due to the softness. Don't feel I'm explaining myself very well but I know what I mean and I really like the photo. :)
@froggie0628 Thank you Amanda. If you want the challenge could be something depicting the signs of the season, such as pumpkins, squash, apples, leaves, costumes, etc.
