@olivetreeann I wish. My friend has Parkinson's Disease and is in the throws of the dementia that accompanies this illness sometimes. My wish for her is some peace; to not know that she doesn't know.

@randystreat I understand what you're talking about as my father had this debilitating disease prior to his passing also. Thankfully the dementia never took hold as strongly as it could have, but had he lived longer, I'm sure it would have.

@olivetreeann My mother had Alzheimer's when she died. She probably didn't know me for better than 2 years. I'm not sure if the AD or degenerative disc disease caused her not to be able to stand or walk, but the AD robbed her of many things. Not easy to watch.
