It definitely looks like one. The ones we have here are my least favourite plants but this one is perfect. I really like how you have it coming into flower and the DOF sets it off lovely.
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. @summerfield Thank you Vikki. @mcsiegle Thank you for your feedback Mary @mandygravil Thanks Mandy. I had a hard time identifying it. I initially thought it was a Kousa Dogwood, but soon realized the leaves weren't right. This is not a typical hydrangea found in landscapes around here, but I too think that it's beautiful. @jamibann I had to look that up. It may just be that, although in the photos I saw on line, the leaves weren't quite the same. This was as big as a tree, too. Thank you. I think it's beautiful as well. @craftymeg Thank you Margaret. @kwind Thanks Kim. @overalvandaan Thank you Saxa. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry @ziggy77 Thanks so much Jo. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann for the comments and validation. Know what the name of this hydrangea is in the US? Lace, like some of the British Isles folks said?
