Braids meant for swinging

A theme for photo club next time is movement in portraiture. I took a number of shots of this young woman. These don't really qualify as portraits but they do show movement and I thought they turned out pretty cool. I love her braids and that was one reason I asked her to help me.

Definitely nice movement. FAV for me. What a great young model with all those wonderful braids.

I like the flip of her braids. My thought is you could make it more like a portrait by going to black and white and cropping the picture so that her profile is more pronounced. If she's willing to model again, see if you can find a blank background- like the side of a building. I think the movement of her braids will stand out even more then.
