Flash of Red Day #2
A view from the grounds of an historic, post revolutionary war home just outside the town where I live. The mountains in the background are the South Mountains.
@grammyn Thank you Katy. I sometime feel like I live in a little hole with mountains and trees all around. @yolanda Thank you Yolanda @wakelys Somehow I've never been there before and I wasn't sure whether or not I was really allowed to be there. It is a private home and a functioning farm. Maybe I'll go back again and test my luck. @pyrrhula Thank you. Not far from town, yet all to itself surrounded by nature the way it is. @taffy The house is older looking (although in good shape) than the farm buildings you can see. I can't imagine living somewhere that has those roots, although the European folks who might read this are probably chuckling. You know, in the US, this is almost as old as it gets. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @aikiuser I thank you for saying so Jenn. @farmreporter Thank you very much Wendy. @craftymeg Thanks Margaret. @yolanda I think it is beautiful too. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @tosee Thank you Tom.
you live in a nice place. there are no mountains in ontario. one needs to drive for a day and a half towards the west to see any mountain. we have similar trees though. nice shot. aces!
@summerfield Thank you Vikki. I didn't realize that about Ontario. When I was a kid, we'd travel to Quebec to see my grandparents and of course there were mountains there.
