Some of you may have heard the story that built this tall fence around her back yard and between my yard and hers in the front and side. I saw her chase these pests out of her yard before the fence was built and chuckled when the fence went up that it wouldn't keep them out of her yard. Not very nice of me I know.
maybe the neighbour was just using the birds as an excuse? i'm definitely not a nice person -- i always think of the negative. love that white peabird.
Sorry I'm a bit late. For your Get Pushed challenge what do you think of representing you - it could be hobbies you have, things or places you like or if you wish a selfie (you don't need to photograph your face unless you want to - it could be your hands etc)?
@wakelys If you're bad, I'm worse. I think she might have thought the fence would keep them out. @pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. First time I've seen them up there. @fbailey They fly pretty well, but I think they don't like to. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Yes, these are those noisy peacocks. There are four altogether and they have some other noisy ones, like a cockatoo or something. @summerfield I'm not sure why she built the fence but I've noticed lately she has a dog out there at times. The back yard fence in understandable. It the part that continues to the front of the property almost to the road between her house and mine only. @cocobella They live at the house behind mine and come to visit fairly regularly. They're a bit messy, like geese. And noisy all day and in the night. @grammyn Yup. She probably wasn't even home to know it happened. And who knows, they may have been there before. I just haven't seen them there. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @jamibann The lady next door built a fence around her back yard and along the property line between my house and hers. It upset me but because she's had a dog out there sometimes and I understood the backyard. The rest of it I don't understand. I guess she has something to hid from me. I did see her once last year trying to chase the peacocks out of her yard and chuckled. I know they go where they want. I suspected the fence wouldn't keep them out and I got my proof. I'm terrible. @pusspup They are peacocks, no hens in the flock. I'm surprised nothing has got them because we have foxes and coyotes around. @la_photographic Thank you for the challenge Laura. @craftymeg They're a bit annoying at times, mostly noisy and a bit messy like geese. I guess I won't cook one. Not very good for being neighborly. @thewatersphotos Thanks. I think so. Took my breath when I saw them fly over the fence and up onto that roof. Then I laughed. @tunia I guess so. I didn't know I was a bad one. (of course I had to take it personally) @olivetreeann That's right. It was funny. Thanks Ann.
I didn’t hear about the fence story (maybe I did and forgot) but I didn’t realize peacocks could even fly up that high. Ha the neighbor must be annoyed.
@pyrrhula Thanks Ferry. First time I've seen them up there.
