I especially like that you captured it with the machinery. It makes it a much more interesting photo than just a mural, although the mural is great. Is this a theater of some sort?
@olivetreeann The guy/gal's still up there painting. Right side of the lift. Thanks Ann. @wakelys It really is. It's the stage end of the building so the ceiling is quite high and there's a basement too under the stage. @cherrymartina Hopefully nothing more. I like the vast expanse of brick myself. Murals sometimes destroy the look of good architecture, IMHO. @grammyn Not only the machinery is there, but the person who is painting it is still in the lift. It's our municipal auditorium. Community activities as well as traveling shows and music are highlighted here. @pusspup Yes they are and actually quite appropriate for this building since it's the municipal auditorium. Stage shows, music, graduations, etc. play at regular intervals. @serendypyty Thanks Carole. I'm hoping no more too. @kjarn Thanks Kathy. I pass this building regularly, but it's better noticed from a distance. The closer I got, until I was right beside it, the less I could see. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @craftymeg Thanks Meg.
