@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. The bell players are practicing for Christmas but they did play a few weeks ago. They generally just leave them up because they don't have to store them and move them. @wakelys I thought so. Not quite typical because this one has more magnolia leaves that usual. @bkbinthecity It really was. Thanks Brian.
This made a really pretty composition for you Kathy. I especially like the fact that it’s Thanksgiving in the foreground and Christmas in the background
@craftymeg Thank you Meg. @rensala The things that could disappear the fastest may not be real produce. Those decorators know what they are doing (more than me). 😀 @grammyn Thank you Katy. Not really Christmas. The bells play periodically throughout the year, if that's what you are referring to. @onewing Thank you Babs. You know there are people that have such artistic talents when it comes to these things. I have little to no talent in that area. @joemuli Thanks Joey. And you're welcome. I hate to miss people's photos. They give me pleasure and often inspire me.
Very pretty indeed! It's fun to see the different foliage in use for a different region in the country. I wish our handbells played more often- they have such a beautiful sound.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. I knew that I had to get a photo of it when I walked in and saw it. @corinnec Thank you Corinne. @olivetreeann Thank Ann. The bells are a beautiful addition to the the already splendid music we're lucky to have. @grammyn The ringers are skilled and the selection of music they play is varied. @kjarn It was lovely. Thanks Kathy. @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. No I don't play bells. I sit there beside the ringers and watch, admire their skill and enjoy the music @jamibann Thank you Issi. @pusspup Good adjective Wylie. @johnfalconer Thank you John.
My ps skills are sorely limited...but if u don,'t mind a suggestion....you could try gaussian blur on the whole image & then go back with history brush on the "still life" part. Just a thought....hope zi'm not overstepping!
@granagringa No you're not overstepping. I thank your for the tip. I have never heard of and therefore never used a history brush. I really haven't delved into brushes much. I probably will go back and try this on a copy of the original. PS is so involved and seems every time I think I know something it doesn't work the same the next time. Very time consuming and frustrating at times.
