52 Week Challenge Week #50 Tell Me a Story
Well, it's raining and these guys are enjoying their favorite place to wait out the rain. I lifted the blind in the door so I could see them better. They are quite nosy so two of them were checking me out as I was taking photos.
Such lovely visitors but a shame that they leave little gifts.
For your get pushed can you play with water in a glass to either capture a slash or distort an imagine. Open to your interpretation.
@amyk I do. I think their human family may be equally exotic but haven't really met them. They stay to themselves. @Dawn They can be so noisy. Including when they tromp over the roof. @mccarth1 Hmm. Interesting yes, but not always the best neighbors. @haskar Fun to watch sometimes. @wakelys Those gifts are not always so little. So far I've managed to avoid most, except to clean up. Your challenge is intriguing. I assume it was a typo to capture a slash. You meant a splash right? I will find some way to do it. Thanks you. @grammyn They are fun to see. It was the first time all three had been close enough together that I could get them all at one time. @kali66 Very noisy at times. It won't be long until they start cranking up. Seems mating season starts earlier than I ever realized. @rensala Yes. It's been curious living next to this family. At one time there was a cow, a sheep, some ducks and donkey. They are now down to exotic birds. @pyrrhula Thank you. Hard to get a good shot because they move around a lot. @bkbinthecity Thank you. @shutterbug49 They do give photo ops. I'm wondering if the white one is a juvenile. There used to be two. This one has some green feathers at the nape of it's neck. @kjarn You are very correct Kathy. @jamibann Yes, you got that right Issy. @annied Thank you Annie. I'll get on it. @pusspup I don't know if this is truly a while one or perhaps a young one that will change colors. It has some green feathers on its neck. They are curious and big! @craftymeg If I had my druthers, I'd druther they stay home. But it is fun to see them. @tunia Yes, I thought so too. I didn't notice that one was so blue and the other so green until this year.
@cdcook48 mmm. Not always lucky. Pretty is as pretty does. And sometimes what's done is not so pretty. But they're funny to watch and very nosy. @corinnec Thanks. They run when I open the door or am out there. I've not taken the time to try and "court" them. I'd just as soon they stay in the yard and off the patio and off my driveway and porch out front.
