@overalvandaan Thank you for viewing and for the Fav. The string is actually a piece of morning glory vine that stuck when I pulled it away. @peterlgrave No Peter, they haven't built in my roof. However, I had insulation blown into the sides of my house when I bought it. It's wood siding and they drilled a hole, blew the insulation in, then capped it with a plastic plug. Several of the plugs came out without us know it and some sort of bird built nests in the walls. Our first clue were the bits on insulation lying out on the grass. Had to wait 'til they "flew the coop" to cap the holes back off. @digitalrn@altadc Thank you both for viewing and commenting. i really appreciate your encouraging words.
