Right in the heart of this little hamlet sits the boat-acessible public dock that seems to stretch endlessly into Buck Bay on Orcas Island. Boats come and go all day long, taking up an overnight mooring or just docking for a shore visit to the general store.
Love those San Juan Islands. Always wanted to take the time to camp in that area. Just seems like we're always too much in a hurry to get somewhere.... Too bad! This is an interesting shot.
