Japanese Spiraea by rensala

Japanese Spiraea

Also called ‘Meadowsweets’ have little bursts of colour. I read that the name Spiraea is derived from the Greek word 'speira' which means “wreath”, “coil”, or “spire”, which allude to showy clusters of flowers although these ones are very discreet, not at all showy.
Gorgeous detail and color!
