Just right-of-center is my friend, Cursillo brother and rowing buddy, Roland, in his Vespoli Matrix 27. Row 3K, then a water break and chat. Row 4K, then a water break and chat. Another 4K and a water break and chat. Then 3K back to the dock and load the boats. A great combination of being on the water, time with a good friend and getting some exercise.
When I got home, Clare had fresh blueberry-scones ready! She made them one-handed, of course. I washed some fresh blueberries and raspberries and we had a nice breakfast together.
Three more days of employment and Clare retires! With a full arm cast, of course, but what can you do?

@digitalrn She broke the scaphoid bone (at the "waist" of the bone) on her dominant hand 5 weeks ago tomorrow. One more week in the long cast — thumb-to-bicep — and she trades it in for a cast only up to the forearm. She gets that for 4–6 weeks and then they'll evaluate.
