Lying in the sunshine

Jack is still with us. Only a few frames today as Clare returns from helping her mom move back to her (Mom's) hometown.

Clare never lived in the home Mom just sold, but Mom & Dad bought it nearly 30 years ago, so it has been the only Grandma-and-Grandpa home in Royal Oak (Michigan) that our daughters have known.

I have an aunt-and-uncle in a neighboring city, Clare has a widowed-aunt in Royal Oak and my parents are buried in Royal Oak, but those are the remaining family connections to the hometown Clare & I share. A new era begins, I guess … a year after my last class.

[This is the sixth post of *my* cat in 4+ years (and 1,588 posts). That works out to about once every 9 months, which is probably better than I might have imagined when I started this project 1,587 posts ago!]

Gorgeous cat! And you do math even to figure out your "cat posting" rate. You crack me up!
