Cabbage White / Small White by rhoing

Cabbage White / Small White

I’m seeing a lot more of these this year after posting none last year. No need to submit this anywhere as I’ve already submitted this species everywhere this year (BAMONA, BugGuide, and iNaturalist).

Now that I’m participating at iNaturalist, I note that since that is an international site—not restricted just to sightings in the U.S. or North America—iNaturalist uses the common name from Europe, “Small White.”

I've been seeing a lot the past few days. They are so quick it's difficult to get a photo of them.

@randystreat They *are* quick. It was a lot easier to photograph them with a long, zoom lens … which I no longer have. :(
