It's hard to believe, but these are the same heron's just a few seconds apart. The first was having a really bad hair day, but it relaxed, and everything was back to normal.
That is really amazing - I'm quite familiar with his second look, but never seen him with those feathers totally askew. That is hysterical - wonderful timing to catch him.
