Was in the house this morning and the phone rang. Just happened to be my wife all excited and began telling me that there was a Hawk on my car. She was pulling in the driveway. So I ran and grabbed the camera and got one shot off through the window. Then I tried to open the door and away it went. Just wish that window I was shooting through had been a lot clearer. Oh well. Guess I'm down to one photo tonight. Looks like my membership has expired.
That's pretty good for a quick shot through a window. They are so quick to get away. We have hawks that come in for a quick breakfast from our white pigeon doves. I keep trying to get a photo but it's tricky. Except for one that I got a few years ago when our dog frightened the hawk and it landed in the lake. It got itself out ok but then couldn't fly while it was wet. I got some great photos - and some from within 2 metres.
