Didn't really get out today, but was able to go to our Wild Birds Unlimited where they were having a display of several birds. These birds are being taken care of by the St Augustine Alligator farm. Each of them has some sort of problem that will not let them be released back into the wild. This Swallowtail Kite had severe wing damage on the other side, and only has about half a wing. Had not ever seen one of these up this close, but almost looks like it would be a friendly bird. But guess looks are deceiving. Although, this one was real friendly, especially when the owner was feeding it a few mealworms. :-)
