Wasn't sure if there was going to be a sunset tonight or not. Lot of heavy clouds, but it seemed that they were going to start lifting on the horizon. This was about the most that they cleared and after this, behind the cloud bank it went.
Lovely color. I find myself wondering if there is a different angle you could shoot from. I find the piers going out crossways tends to feel like they are blocking my eye from traveling in. What do you think?
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane. Unfortunately, from my vantage point, there's not much of a way that I can change the angle. With the direction of the sun in the sky, that is pretty much the shot that I'm stuck with at this time of year. As the seasons go on, the sun will come back towards me and I will be able to get a little more of a parallel shot with the piers. Got a couple of other spots that I need to check out, and maybe can get a little clearer shot without all of the piers. thanks again.
