Barred Owl Trying to Snooze!

I tried and tried to get this guy to turn it's head, but it just wasn't playing today. Couldn't get a good shot from any other angle either. Was just glad to see one of them again, as I hadn't seen them in quite a while.

Nice feather markings - maybe something you wouldn't notice so much if the owl was eyes forward - their faces are so very striking.
