Have been wanting to get a little closer to this guy and today I was finally able to. As you saw from yesterdays shot, the tide on the river is very low right now. I was able to walk about half way from where I normally try to get the shot and was able to get some pretty clear shots. Could have gotten closer, but didn't want to scare it off before I got some shots. As I walked away, heard a cackle, and turned around and there was another one sitting up there. Tried to go back, but as I was setting up to get a shot of those, the second one flew. Durn the bad luck. But guess I shouldn't complain, since I got this close to this one and it stayed.
