Another one of those days when the wife and I went for a walk in our usual spot and I didn't have the camera. As we were coming back, just happened to look off to the side and there it was. So off I had to go to get the camera. Ran back to the car and then ran back to the spot. Sure glad the owls aren't afraid of movement, especially as close as it was to the trail. And then it was nice enough to sit there and turn and look at me for several shots. It did finally fluff it's feathers and away it went. A very successful day when I find one of these guys.
Can I double fav this? It is absolutely outstanding - not even a twig in your way. wonderful focus and the lighting is great. I would be thrilled to see one of these this close. Fav Fav Fav
