Had a low tide this morning, so was able to wade out into the river and get some closer shots of this guy. Not sure just how stable the tripod was in the soft sand, as I thought it should be even clearer, as close as I was. Better luck next time. Again, guess I shouldn't complain, at least I saw the Eagles and Osprey's.

Think these have become one of my favorites, and am really excited when I do see one, as they are not the most common bird around here. Just glad this one likes to hang out in this tree during the day.
