In the easterly direction, the sky's were relatively clear, but there has been that cloud bank on the horizon that just totally blocks out the sun. This was my favorite pier for sunset shots, which was basically destroyed by the hurricanes a couple of years ago. Word is, that they are supposed to rebuild it, but I'm not holding my breath.
Been watching the weather channel today and saw that you had the first storm of the season heading your way - hopefully not much but rain and more toward the gulf than the Atlantic side. That would sure mess up sunsets.
@milaniet Yeah Milanie, we'll probably get a lot of rain from it, but since it's out in the gulf, we shouldn't have too much other effects from it. And yes, it will probably block out the sunsets for a while now. :-(
