At least the rain hasn't chased the owls off, but seems like it was really trying to tuck itself back in some of the thicker branches and brush. Almost missed it, but caught a glimpse as I passed by and then started working to get a clear shot. Just couldn't get a totally clear shot today. Guess it's figured me out.

And they do hide very well sometimes, so takes a lot of looking. A lot of times when I do find them, they have their eye's closed, but I try to wait until they move and them I'll make a little noise to get it to look down. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
