Went down late this afternoon for a walk and first thing I see after being on the trail was my Owl friend. The light was terrible, so we went on with our walk and after coming back the owl was still there, so had to get the camera out. As I was taking pictures of the owl, I heard a loud screech/scream. The owl was even surprised by it as that head really turned around to check it out. Started looking for the sound and looked almost straight up and saw this guy sitting up there. The owl was in terrible lighting but the Bald Eagle, had the late afternoon sun shining on him. Talk about hitting the jackpot! Should have gone out and bought a lottery ticket. :-) Probably best on black if you have the time.
