After leaving the Owls today, stopped by my other spot and found this guy just sitting up there keeping an eye on things. Was really surprised, as there were two somewhat large boats anchored at the end of the pier with their music blasting, but didn't seem to bother the eagle. Then I had to go wading to try to get the best shot. Fortunately, it was low tide and I could see in the water with no problem. Only thing I had to look out for was a couple of crabs, but managed to avoid them.
