Black Snake in the Sunshine!

Well, guess our temps didn't drop enough to chase these guys in. Fortunately it was off of the trail, so didn't walk up on it. Just happened to see it as I was trying to get a shot of the butterfly.

I don't mind them as long as I see them from a distance first - sure don't like walking right up on them - non-poisonous or not! Good spotting.

@milaniet @ludwigsdiana Thanks Milanie, and Diana. Fortunately, this one is a non-poisonous snake. Very good for taking care of a lot of the rodents, so dont usually interfere with these.
