Almost missed this fellow and an Osprey that had flown by. Fortunately, I turned around just in time to catch a few shots as it went on to it's favorite tree. Of course, which it just a little bit out of my range. If we get a really low tide, I might just have to wade over to that tree and see if I can get a few shots up close.
I'm going to be bringing my new camera - maybe I can get a bird shot half as good - of course, I won't have it but a day so I may not know how to even turn in on by then! (Bringing the old one, too - advantage of driving). Love this shot.
