The markings on this one are a little different, but don't seem to fall into the Red Tailed Hawk. And speaking of hawks, I was watching the mom owl and all of a sudden this hawk came swooping in on her, but somehow, she managed to get away from the hawk and then the tide turned and mom owl was after the hawk. Mom owl was safe, but then a couple of crows then decided to chase after her. Not sure what was going on with the birds today. But mom owl did elude the crows and started calling to the babe, once again.
Probably one of my very favorite of your bird shots! Everything came together so well. And loved the narrative of the happenings - could picture the whole scenario. Glad everyone came out well.
