Went back to one of my other parks this morning for the second day. Heard what I thought was a baby owl yesterday, so had to go back today. As soon as I got on the trail, I started hearing the little whine of the baby's, and then I saw this adult owl up in the tree. Never could locate the baby, but walked around under the tree to try for the best shot of the parent.
