Got one of the eagles out today. This one was just waiting up there watching out over the river. Not sure if it saw something or if it saw it's mate, but it did take off, and of course, I wasn't ready.
Very nice detail on those feathers - I get too impatient when waiting for them to fly and then they're off when I should have been watching for signs. You'll get him yet.
