Waiting

View of the fields waiting to be harvested near Melton Mowbray. I took this whilst waiting for the Red Arrows to fly over which came over a few minutes later but we're too high to get anything usable shot wise but still nice to see.
Tracks in the grain fields? What do they do that makes them?

@bette It's apparently so they can get onto the field with the tractor when it's wet for spraying etc. I assume because the British climate is quite damp!

Lovely scene beautifully composed.

Lovely choice of scenery. I really like the contrast between the clouds and the field in the forefront. Also like the symmetry and sense of scale. Well done! Fav.

@rjb71 here in western Canada, weed spraying (if it's done) happens when the crop is still quite young so tracks aren't obvious. We don't see tracks in ripe fields. Interesting to see how growing practices are different.
