Precious water by robz

Precious water

Towards the southern end of New South Wales the country has become more green - much of it due to irrigation. Makes for a beautiful drive.

I just loved the red centre and the desert places in Australia because they were so different to what I was used to, so I can well imagine this is a lovely sight when it is usually hotter and drier where you live.

@fbailey Thanks for your comment FB. When you're travelling you get so many photos that a collage seemed to be the way to go. :)

@casablanca The water makes so much difference - especially to the number of dead animals on the road( always very distressing). They don't have to travel so far to get water and not as many cross the roads. And the countryside looks beautiful. But - like you - I love the red dunes of the middle!! We won't get that far this time - aiming for Tassie. Cheers

You've captured the beauty of the drive quite well...it called out for collages!

@taffy Thanks so much for the positive feedback - I always feel funny putting up collages - my daughter hates them - says quite strongly that you lose the feel for the individual images. ( She can be very bossy too!) I'll text her your comment!! LOL

You must be in the eastern part of southern NSW, the western part tends to be more more yellow by now than green. Love that cloud pic.

@golftragic You are quite correct - this was between Cowra and Cootamundra. It was quite a different cloud!!
