Fungi can be fun!!

Pity they smell so much though! These came up after rain - and the whole world knew by the horrible smell!

@olivetreeann These ones and the red star ones both have that yucky slime - I think that's what smells - trying to attract flies I think.

@granagringa OHH - I would imagine so, but no sane person would ever think about eating one - they stink!! However, they never seem to get eaten by snails etc either so that's probably a sign that they are poisonous. They're not very common - we rarely see them. :)

@cruiser Hi Chris - we rarely see them either - I only knew to look for these because I smelt them!!
