Latvian countryside.

Mainly fields and forests with small farm properties - with the exception of the occasional, horrible, concrete unit blocks and factories which are reminders of the Soviet Occupation from the end of World War 2 until the early 1990s. The occasional derelict farm house or barn are also reminders of the forced relocation of whole farming families to the Siberian Gulags.

Lovely landscape. I thought the trees with the white trunks were birches but the tops look more like pines!

The Russians didnt care much about looks did they? strange, cause when you look at Moskow, st Petersburg, and some more cities... they have buildings so beautiful...
