This is for the 52week challenge - story telling involving a stranger. This man believes in living for the day - who cares that Bull Sharks are known to breed and feed in these canals and that dusk is a very bad time for shark attacks. Maybe he just has absolute confidence in his skills, maybe he just doesn't care, maybe he's a risk taker, maybe......
Rob this is such a scary story! But certainly you succeeded in creating a storytelling involving a stranger. And the light and the atmosphere are just perfect match for it. One is afraid of seeing a shark appearing from the water andâŚ
@caterina Thanks for your wonderful response Caterina - it would have been nice to be brave enough to do one of your shots and know the real story of a stranger - but this seemed an easy way out of a very tricky challenge. And he was facing the other way! :)
@fbailey Lol FB - sometimes knowledge is a bad thing - we used to let our kids swim in the canal for years - before it was realized that the bull sharks were so numerous...... Now we're wimpy too! :)
@casablanca Hi Casablanca - probably the chance of him falling off that thing is about zero!! Apparently they are pretty stable - not that I'd even be able to stand up on it.... :)
@peadar Lol Thanks Peter - it's OK to embellish a story just a little isn't it!!?? Most of the attacks have been in deeper water than the water here..... :)
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann - but he's probably a paddle boarder who has nearly zero chance of falling off. I think he lived in one of those houses in the background - so he probably does this every day!! :)
