The city of Gold Coast came into being because of it's white, sandy beaches. As it grew it developed into a city of multiple canals branching out from it's main rivers. So today many of our restaurants and cafes have wonderful water views. This is the view across the Coomera River.
@golftragic It's got lots of good points and places - but also a fair bit of glitz and ugliness! Worth a look though. Let me know if you do plan to come up. :)
