"The Outback" is a term used to describe the vast, remote interior of Australia. It is different to "the bush" which is basically just any area outside of the urban regions.
The outback is often dry, arid and sparsely populated, if at all. To many people it appears desolate.......
P.S. This is not the real outback with those powerlines!!
