You would have to wonder how tough kangaroos are - this is really dry, rocky and barren country.

@jacqbb They are Red Kangaroos - but it is a bit confusing - as you can see Mrs Roo is actually grey. Mr Roo here is probably the biggest roo we get in Aust. A large male can be 2 m (6 ft 7 in) tall and weigh 90 kg (200 lb). You don't want one of them to get annoyed with you - they can disembowel people using the claws on their hind legs. Luckily they are usually fairly unconcerned with interacting with people! Cheers Rob
